A new CD containing 13-tracks featuring the one and only Nyoy Volante.

Already on his fifth album with Vicor Music, the singer-songwriter / guitar-whiz said the album will Feature well-known pop classics and love songs such as (They Long To Be) Close To You (by The Carpenters), I Will (by The Beatles), Dreaming Of You (by Selena), What’s Forever For (by Michael Murray) to name a few, plus two new original songs by Nyoy Volante entitled Make You Happy and You’re Not Mine.

New Vicor Music will put out the song Because (a John Lennon original)as the first single off the "HEARTSTRINGS" CD. Mainly a "back-to-basics" album, "HEARTSTRINGS" will be a familiar sounding one, an album that long-time fans will likely compare with, or put along side with songs from Nyoy's first album (2002's "Acoustic") and at the same time an entirely new thing for those who have joined NV in the last 2 years or so.

"HEARTSTRINGS" also finds Nyoy on the next phase of his growth as an artist.

Although the new album has that "less is more" feel, Nyoy readily says that before "it was all about being acoustic as a genre," "but now its more the medium than being just a style."

NV goes on further that "I'm thankful I've been associated with that scene (acoustic) but the musicality did not stop there, you can hear hollow guitars but its just the medium, I'm more into what feels right and what sounds good and what works well for the music."
