Labels: Blind Item 0 comments'HEARTBREAK HOTEL’ – A young and popular actor (yes, he can act and act well) associated a resort hotel with heartbreak. There is where his erstwhile sweetheart broke his heart to pieces.
This is how the story goes. With their barkada they flew to a resort in the South over the weekend, wanting to get away from the hassle of Manila and enjoy a few days of bliss. At that time he and his sweetheart were madly in love with each other – or so he thought. She said he was her great true love. And the feeling was mutual.
But he was in for the shock of his life when during the first night at the resort hotel he saw his "great love" entering the nearby cottage of the TV host-model of foreign extraction. She stayed in the cottage for an hour while he stood bewildered from some distance, tormented by the thought that his "great love" was making love with the foreigner. What else could they be doing?
He kept quiet throughout the weekend even if his heart was breaking. He didn’t want to spoil the fun. But when he was all alone, he cried as he’d never cried before. Back in Manila he broke up with her.
The actor has recovered from the heartbreak but, truth to tell, the hurt still lingers.

Its image models are Dingdong Dantes and Angelica Panganiban, coming from rival networks but sharing a fashion for shoes.
Angelica is a new endorser, but Dingdong has been with Mario D’boro even before ‘Marimar’ and ‘Dyesebel.’
At their pictorial, Angelica tried some one dozen shoes, wishing she’d bring home two or three pairs. After the shoot, all were placed in a bag – and given to Angelica. "Akin pala lahat," she smiled. Same with Dingdong, who disclosed that Mario D’boro supplies him shoes regularly.
Angelica and Dingdong look beautiful together. Is there a chance they’ll work in soap or a movie? It might take some doing as Dingdong is Kapuso (GMA), while Angelica is Kapamilya (ABS-CBN). But then who knows?
IN LOVE – Dingdong and Angelica are in love – not with each other, of course. He’s going steady with Karylle and she with Derek Ramsay. And the love stories seem to be holding despite showbiz pressure and hassle.
Dingdong is leading man to Marian Rivera in the toprating ‘Dyesebel.’ Angelica is in the cast of the upcoming star-studded soap ‘Iisa Pa Lamang,’ topbilled by Claudine Barretto.
